| Kerala's Kudumbashree is a people-centred movement that has made a significant contribution to the social empowerment of women and poverty eradication in the state. Its primary objective is to promote women's economic self-reliance and enhance their participation in social development. |

Kudumbashree is the State Poverty Eradication Mission launched by the Government of Kerala on 17 May 1998. It functions under the leadership of Local Self-Government Institutions with active participation from the community.
